 Advanced Photon Sciences (APS) is an innovation company with several ongoing research and development programs.  We are growing and are looking for dynamic researchers who are motivated, self-managing, and like to think out of the box as they work across several projects.   We are a small business, in the greater Burlington area, with extensive high-tech resources and systems which rival large business and Universities.   This means that our in-house capabilities present a unique opportunity to expand your research horizons and offer opportunities to experience a wide range of exciting technologies.
-Advanced Photon Sciences is seeking qualified Research and Development candidates with scientific backgrounds and a passion for exploring new technology.
-Advanced Photon Sciences is also seeking a Junior Accountant to assist in internal accounting functions, and to support a growing external customer base of manufacturing and charitable corporations.  Knowledge of manufacturing systems and inventory management, or government contracting a plus.
GENERAL WORK DESCRIPTION (for all positions):
One of our rapidly growing programs involves Non-volatile Magnetic Memory.  Interested and qualified candidates will require backgrounds in semiconductor processing, lithography, or advanced thin film technologies, ASIC background, and related Memory design experience, with emphasis on test design and physical wafer test. Other desired skill sets include electronics and controls related circuit board design and general electronics engineering.

Our other main focus is on Advanced Materials Development and Processing with aspects including Injection molding, Semiconductor related processing, and lithography.
We intend to hire a team of candidates with complimenting skill sets to allow for technical diversity and an opportunity to collaborate in all aspects of projects.  In turn, this will provide opportunity to develop and share new skills across the team.   Candidates looking to broaden their capabilities and experience scientifically exotic technologies will get a unique opportunity to explore all aspects of these projects.
 
General Requirements:
U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the US under a green card or permanent residency card and confirmed through E-Verify);
Willing to work in a dynamic role with evolving requirements as driven by the research;
Must be able to work in teams as well as individually;
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
Actively participate in all meetings and interchanges;
Adhere to safety procedures and follow safe work practices;
Willing to work in a clean room environment involving use of PPE and Garments;
Ability to support occasional domestic travel and customer interaction if required;
Proficiency with standard PC applications to include Microsoft Office.
